This year, Romanian Business Digest enriches with a new series that will be published online, on the new doingbusiness.ro website. The first of the series will be issued in February and it plans to sketch the most serious aspects of Human Resources and personal development in Romania and intends to answer to the most critical questions of this sector. What are the key words for HR in 2013 in Romania and is HR a friend or foe for the corporations, employees and entrepreneurs?

1.  Comparing 2013 with previous year, how will HR department position within the companies’ strategies this year from the employer’s point of view? What will they be looking for, how are this year’s budgets? 

 

2. Is retention really a practice in Romanian companies, either they are corporations or smaller-sized or Romania is still seen as a cost-effective market where “the cheaper the better?”

5. What should be dramatically changed in the strategies targeting the human resources and professional education, either it is about the companies, school systems and legislative or fiscal adjustments?

 

6.  Has the current Labor Code express the needs and demands of this sector in Romania, from both employer’s and employee’s point of view and which are the main aspects that should be revised or addressed?

 

7. What are your estimations regarding unemployment in Romania and Europe in general and which are the main sign alerts that should be screened in this respect?
