Huawei greatly values their efforts and contributions to the company’s continuous progress, as well as the trust and support of our clients and partners. They can help us make things possible,” said Wang Haitao, CEO of Huawei in Romania. “Developing our operations in Romania was a natural step for us to move forward, as Huawei saw the technological trends of the local market and seized to opportunity to expand its business here. We took the best decision and we would like to thank the Romanian authorities for their support throughout these exciting ten years,” concluded Haitao.

The Prime Minister of Romania, Victor Ponta, present at the anniversary event, appreciated Huawei’s efforts to develop the next generation of technology and to grow the Romanian ITC sector.

Over 400 engineers work in the Huawei Romania GSC to deliver innovative and competitive services, using a highly automated environment. Aside from this strategic service hub, Huawei also developed its Accounting Service Shared Center (ASSC), one of the largest units of its kind in the company group. Huawei Romania ASSC fulfills the external compliance and statutory requirement to support all 37 European subsidiaries with accounting services such as global payment, sales accounting or auditing support.
